Which Kinobody Workout Routine Is For You?

Which Kinobody workout routine is for you? There are quite a few to choose from, and depending on what your goals are, one will be a better starting place for you than another.

I’ve been an avid Kinobody program follower since the pandemic hit. It was the summer of 2020 when I discovered this company, and I can truly say it changed my entire perspective on health and fitness, as well as my overall body and life.

One of the amazing benefits of getting into awesome shape is that it doesn’t end with your body transforming. It also changes you internally, on so many different levels. One of the most beneficial changes I personally noticed is in my own confidence.

After following three months of Kinobody’s Movie Star Body Program, it threw me for a complete loop because I lost 15 pounds of body fat, and dropped 2 inches on my waist, while simultaneously building lean muscle. It’s the best bodyweight workout routine that I personally know of, and you don’t need a single piece of equipment to get serious results. I would, however, suggest a pull-up bar and some exercise bands at the very minimum.

That said, every Kinobody program has a completely different structure with a unique set of goals in place. What they all have in common though, is a powerful eating routine designed to strip off unwanted fat, and a solid workout plan backed by a ton of research, designed to sculpt your body with lean muscle.

There are no diets within Kinobody programs, which is one of the reasons they’re so effective. You actually eat whatever the heck you want to eat, and you don’t have to work out 6 days a week. Nope. In fact, every program has you work out only 3 days a week, and people in Kinobody programs get insane results compared to gym rats who live in the weight room.

So, let’s get to the differences between the Kinobody programs below.

Movie Star Body Program

This is the program I’ll be forever grateful for and it’s how I discovered Kinobody in the first place. The Movie Star Body program is designed to strip off unwanted fat, and build lean muscle simultaneously. It was developed to be a home workout program that you can do with minimal to no equipment.

Since there are a number of workouts in the Movie Star Body Program that involve chin-ups and pull-ups, I’d suggest getting a pull-up bar that you can install in your door frame. They’re inexpensive and you’ll be glad that you did.

However, I’ve been in situations with this program where I didn’t even have access to that, and I’d do pull-ups and chin-ups using tree branches.

The workouts build upon each other month after month. What this means is that the volume and tension of your exercises become more challenging every 30 days.

The most challenging workouts have simple variations that you can do to start off. So, don’t be intimidated if you can’t do a one-arm chin-up or push-up. I couldn’t do these either at the start, but I eventually worked my way up to being able to do a one-arm push-up.

Some of the workouts you’ll find in the program:

  • handstand push-ups
  • one arm chin-ups
  • feet elevated push-ups
  • side to side hanging knee ups
  • pistol squats
  • hip thrusts
  • calf raises
  • L-sits
  • closed grip chin-ups

Once you’ve gone through the workout routine for a full 12 weeks, you can repeat it for even better results. This is exactly what I did. Even though I lost significant fat and built solid muscle in my first round, I got even better results the second time around.

Once you complete the program again (if you choose to do so), there are other variations of the program that you can do. So, investing in the Movie Star Body program actually gives you access to quite a few workouts that can keep you busy for well over a year.

Greek God Workout

The Greek God workout program is designed for guys who have skinny or average body types with minimal extra fat on them. It would be a great program for me since I’ve learned down to a low body fat percentage after going through Movie Star Body, but at the moment, I’m doing a hybrid routine of that workout, utilizing dumbbell weights at home.

What a lot of guys do in the Kinobody community, is strip off a significant amount of fat, by going through the Movie Star Body program first, and then once they’ve achieved their desired leanness, they transition into the Greek God Program.

The Greek God Workout requires that you have a gym membership or a solid home gym set up with all the proper equipment needed. The goal of this program is to help you pack on 15 pounds of muscle in a matter of 6 months.

The reason this is actually very doable and realistic is that the eating protocol of the program has you dial in your calories so that you’re at the perfect surplus for a lean bulk. The goal of eating at a lean bulk is to help you gain anywhere from 1 to 3 pounds of muscle per month, with minimal fat gain. Learn how the lean bulk works here.

Of course, eating at this kind of surplus also requires that you’re putting your all into every single workout. Some workouts you can expect to find within Greek God:

  • squats
  • deadlifts
  • pull-ups
  • bench presses
  • curls
  • weighted sit-ups
  • rows

Kino Baddie Program

The Kino Baddie program is designed exclusively for women. That said, I know women who are in the Movie Star Body program as well. However, most of that program seems to be dominated by guys.

Even though that’s the case, one thing hasn’t changed. That is that Kino Baddie, just like any other Kinobody program, has you dial in your calories so that you’re set up to burn off significant fat and tone up your body with lean muscle.

Aside from an enjoyable eating plan, the workout routine includes strength training 3 days a week. You don’t sit around doing cardio and dieting all day because that is the surefire formula for a skinny fat body. The goal of this program along with all other Kinobody program is to develop your physique proportionately.

Here are the body parts worked in the Kino Baddie program:

  • shoulders
  • legs

Your workouts are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and each routine is strategically set up by Greg O’ Gallagher, the founder of Kinobody.

Walking daily is another essential component to all Kinobody programs, and it does wonders for stripping off unwanted fat.

That said, if you’re skinny or average, you’ll be better off diving right into the Greek God workout. If you’ve got significant fat or consider yourself to be overweight, then it’s best to start with the Movie Star Body Program.

If you’re a woman looking for a solid weight loss workout routine, then Kino Baddie is a fantastic option, but you could also benefit just as well in the Movie Star Body Program.
