I’m going to share with you the best weight loss plan for men that I personally know of. It’s so incredibly powerful that I still can’t wrap my head around how simple it was to lose 15 pounds and 3% body fat in just a few short months. Your age and experience level on this subject don’t even matter. I’ve watched this work magic for guys who are 19 years old as well as dudes well over 50.

What baffles me is the fact that prior to discovering this, I was eating restrictive low-carb meals 5 – 6 times a day, and I never actually made substantial progress. This weight loss plan goes against everything I ever believed about nutrition and burning fat. I eat pizza, burgers, fries, and ice cream now. When I look in the mirror, I see my body has transformed in ways I never thought it could.

For years, I believed the key to effective fat loss and getting defined had to do with intense cardio training and eating low-carb meals. Boy was I wrong. It’s amazing how the mainstream fitness industry feeds us with so much information about diets and workouts that aren’t necessarily effective. The truth is, burning fat is so simple, as you’ll learn below.

The weight loss program I’m about to share with you is the reason I started writing articles in the first place. After years of hitting my head against a wall, something finally worked for me, and I felt a responsibility to share this knowledge with others.

The program I discovered is called Movie Star Body. It includes a simple yet powerful eating plan, that when combined with an amazing home workout routine, is incredibly powerful. In fact, almost everyone in the program that follows it to a T sees transformational results within 90 days.

When I saw those changes happening in the mirror, I was shocked, cause I’ve tried every workout and eating plan under the sun. I’ve always had a soft body that I could never get defined no matter how hard I tried. I was self-conscious to take my shirt off in front of others for years, which is no longer the case.

Movie Star Body is a fat-burning, muscle-building program by Greg O’ Gallagher. It’s designed to build your body proportionately with just the right amount of muscle while stripping away unwanted fat. It works so well for a number of reasons.

The eating plan is the most powerful aspect of the program as far as weight loss goes. The home workouts themselves are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and they are designed to develop lean muscle. As for cardio, Greg actually encourages us to NOT do intense cardio as it can cause us to become ravenously hungry and overeat. However, we are to walk every day. The walking component of the program is one of its secret fat loss weapons. I haven’t done any other form of cardio since I began Movie Star Body.

The Eating Plan

It didn’t make sense at first. You’re telling me that I can eat whatever I want and get fat-burning results at the same time? That’s not possible. The Movie Star Bodyweight program is why I threw out years of previous beliefs about nutrition and fat loss. If you have a mentality that eating low carb is the ultimate solution to losing weight, then this program is going to definitely throw you for a loop.


The only thing you need to do in order to lose weight with this program is to eat at a simple 400 calorie deficit while getting enough protein in. For years, I never understood the concept of calories or why they were important for weight loss. Now that I do, I realize it is the answer to burning off unwanted fat.

The plan in this program is designed in a way so that you lose approximately 4 to 5 pounds per month. This is the perfect number because it allows you to enjoy all the meals you eat, while at the same time lose unwanted fat. If you go beyond a 400 calorie deficit, it starts to feel like a restrictive diet, which goes against what this program is all about.

This plan is designed to help you burn off unwanted fat and build muscle with ease and simplicity. At the same time, you should be able to just enjoy your life.


It’s not absolutely required, but intermittent fasting, in my opinion, is one of the most enjoyable aspects of this program. It’s not a diet. It’s simply a matter of changing up the hours of the day that you eat. That’s all. Those who see the most significant results are doing intermittent fasting according to how it’s taught in the program.

It’s simple to do, and it allows you to eat larger meals when you do eat, so it never actually feels like you’re dieting. To me, eating this way has made my meals so much more enjoyable than they’ve been for years. I definitely don’t miss eating 5 to 6 small meals per day.

The Workout Plan

This is where building lean muscle comes in. The workouts in Movie Star Body are calisthenics, meaning they’re all bodyweight routines you can do from home, or anywhere for that matter. It’s amazing the kind of physique guys in this program build just by using their own body weight and having minimal equipment.

The workouts focus on all your muscle groups, from chest, biceps, back, legs, abs, traps, and more. There’s even a specific workout for your neck, as Greg emphasizes it’s an often neglected muscle that we should focus on once a week.

Each workout takes about 30 – 40 minutes to do and you complete them 3 days a week. My workout days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. These are simple yet incredibly powerful workouts, and the only equipment you need to do them is a pull-up bar.

The dieting element of this program alone will help you lose weight. When these workouts are added in conjunction with the eating plan, the weight you’re losing is pure fat. This is what starts to give you that desired physique that most guys are looking for.

Walking 10,000 Steps

I never would have believed that just walking would be a more effective fat-burning exercise than going to Kickboxing classes or completing Shaun T’s Insanity. The beauty of the Movie Star Body program is that everything about it revolves around simplicity.

The whole idea is to enjoy your life while you’re getting into shape. So, Greg suggests that we avoid intense cardio workouts, and simply focus on walking 10,000 steps every day.

Since I began the workout, I haven’t done another form of cardio. I’ve only walked. I almost feel guilty about the fact that I haven’t gone for a good jog in a while, cause I actually do enjoy jogging. It’s not that you can’t do cardio if you want to. But, if you just walk 10,000 steps a day, you’re getting an effective fat-burning workout in with minimal effort.

Walking 10,000 steps burns about 400 – 500 calories. It’s the most laid back cardio I’ve ever done. In fact, I found a way to kill two birds with one stone by getting a treadmill desk so that when I’m working from home, I get the majority of my steps in while I’m working. So it feels like I’m not even doing anything at all really.

I usually get the rest of my steps in walking around my house and also my neighborhood cause I love to get fresh air anyway. And I’m sure when summer rolls around, I’ll be doing the majority of it outside.

This is the best weight loss plan for men that I’ve ever known, hands down. I’ve followed various plans for many years and nothing compares to this. I feel that what makes it so powerful is the simplicity of all the elements involved. Nothing about the Movie Star Body program ever feels restrictive.

It always feels fun and simple to follow. Just take the walking component by itself. What other weight loss program tells you to avoid cardio and simply walk? I don’t know another program that explicitly tells you to only work out only 3 days a week. Do you know another eating plan that lets you consume your favorite foods like pizza, burgers, fries, and ice cream?

All of these elements together are why it works. It’s like the perfect fat loss muscle-building formula This plan is designed for normal dudes who want to continue living normal lives. I want to stress one other thing. If you have much more fat to lose, and consider yourself to be severely overweight, then I would suggest looking into the “Aggressive Fat Loss” program, which is also listed at the link above. I haven’t personally gone through it myself, but I trust anything and everything Greg teaches.

I know for sure that the Aggressive Fat Loss program is meant for guys who have much more weight to lose. I’ve seen various guys go through that program first, and then they move into Movie Star.     1. It’s easy to think Kinobody is a scam I think, maybe because the program goes against the grain of mainstream fitness. Or maybe it’s just the image it portrays, but I’m glad you are inspired to try it. I’m sorry about the stretch marks your last routine left. I’m sure there’s some kind of procedure that can help with those. In fact, there are some stretch mark creams that I’ve seen online that may help.

At this point, I actually have a walking treadmill that I use while I work on my laptop, so I get so much work done while walking, and before I know it, I’ve already gotten 7,000 steps in. That’s actually my favorite part of the program, cause once you’ve burned off a certain amount of fat from your body, you then increase your calorie intake to start getting bigger, but in the form of muscle.

The movie star body program has so many incredible transformations from different people because it makes the whole process of exercise and nutrition very simple. After my first 90 days, I wanted to take it to another level. I feel I may have plateaued at this point, but I’m also so happy with the progress I initially made that I’m still learning and figuring out where I can take things next. They even featured him on their Instagram page, because a lot of people don’t believe they can get fit at a certain age. It really isn’t stressful at all to keep fit. I’m writing this response on a Tuesday when I don’t work out. It’s awesome to get 4 days a week to just relax. This workout is only 3 days a week, and you get to eat your favorite foods. It’s the least stressful exercise and nutrition routine I’ve ever followed. Yet it also gave me better results than any other program I ever tried…most of which require you to work out almost every day.   17. Wow! I am not a man, but I know there are some exercises I can key into on this MSB kinobody program like the 10,000 steps and intermittent fasting. At least I should start from here and gradually knock out the fat.

Now, if you have more than 20 pounds to lose, I suggest people follow the Aggressive Fat Loss program, which creates a bigger calorie deficit, meaning you lose more weight per month.
