Is Kinobody A Scam? A Closer Look

Is Kinobody a scam?  It’s a valid question and I understand why you’re asking.  The answer is no, it’s not a scam.  In fact, it’s the most amazing health & fitness discovery of my adult life.  Because of Kinobody, I dropped 3% body fat and lost 15 pounds in just a few short months.  If you’re serious about getting into shape, as far as I’m concerned, Kinobody is the golden ticket.

When I first told a friend about it, she immediately asked me why on earth would I follow a douchebag like that?  She was referring to Greg O’ Gallagher, the founder.  “Why don’t you follow someone who actually knows what they’re talking about?”  She judged a book by its cover without knowing a single thing about Kinobody.  It’s her loss.

I understand why she asked though.  There’s something about the overall Kinobody vibe that can easily come off the wrong way to certain people.  It’s this vibe that I think may cause skepticism.  People seem to be either drawn to it or repelled by it.  Just go to their YouTube videos and you’ll see that there are a LOT of haters.  Then there are a ton of supporters too telling the haters to get lost.

I’m one of the supporters.  You’ll learn all about why in this article.

Reasons To Think It’s A Scam

is kinobody a scam

If you watch any of the Kinobody videos on YouTube, you’ll notice they have a theatrical element to them.  I would be willing to bet this is a reason that so many people are turned off by it at first glance.  The video I sent my friend is called “The Real Bruce Wayne” (screenshot above).  She was repulsed by the video.

Now, if you look at the transformations at, they are mindblowing.  I think when I first saw those results, I didn’t believe it would be possible for ME to make any kind of transformation.  I was wrong.  And my progress doesn’t even compare to what other guys in the program have achieved.

I started getting serious results after about a month, which totally threw me by surprise.  My best friend looked at me and said it was the first time in all our years of friendship, that I didn’t have “man boobs”.  He wanted to know how I was stripping fat off my body so quickly.

He was eating low-carb meals with no success trying to lose weight.  But right then, he said he would drop everything he’s doing and just follow exactly what I do.

I sent him some Kinobody info.  He really hated Greg O’ Gallagher’s “frat boy image”.  So, instead, I just shared with him how to eat in a calorie deficit, which is one of the most essential parts of any Kinobody program.

He lost 30 pounds in the following months using that information alone.  He now randomly goes to the gym when he feels like it, and does his own thing, rather than follow a rock-solid plan that Kinobody offers, simply because he doesn’t like the founder of the program.  Oh well.

What’s amazing to me is how quickly people judge a product by its appearance.  We all do it.  But missing out on a solid nutrition & fitness plan that will literally transform your physique especially sucks when the reason for it has to do with first impressions.

It Goes Against The Grain Of Mainstream Fitness & Nutrition

The health & fitness industry is a mess of fad diets & supplements with people desperately trying to figure out how to lose weight and get beach bodies as quickly as possible.  It’s really easy to get hypnotically pulled into the next best thing.

However, I strongly urge you to stay focused on what works.  Kinobody works, almost like magic.  The program I follow is Movie Star Body.  It’s fun, simple, and powerful.  Plus I get to do it all from home.

All Kinobody programs go against the grain of mainstream fitness & nutrition for a few different reasons.  I think the main one is that they are so laid back that you actually get to enjoy your life.  This leads to my next point, which may be one of the reasons you’re skeptical of Kinobody.

It still messes with my head sometimes.  How on earth did I transform my body with a program that’s this incredibly simple?  Isn’t working out supposed to be a chore that requires 6 days a week of intense training?  Aren’t we supposed to eat tiny little low-carb meals all day long?

This is probably one of the biggest reasons Greg O’ Gallagher has such a cult following.  Kinobody programs refuse to take part in any kind of fad diet culture.  They’re actually fun and simple.  And yes, you can eat pizza and burgers if you feel like it while burning fat and building muscle.

Still, the skeptics will have the same concerns.  How is it possible to get ripped in a few months when you’re only training your body 3 days a week?  Where’s the cardio?  You can’t burn fat without cardio!  There’s no way people can get shredded while eating pizza, french fries, and ice cream.

The Kinobody Workouts Are Killer

The workouts are full-body exercises that you do 3 days a week.  Each workout is about 30 – 45 minutes long.  Depending on the program you choose, you’ll either need weights and a gym or you can do bodyweight or hybrid workouts from home.  I’m personally a huge fan of the Movie Star Body Program, which is all bodyweight movements.

These workouts are intense.  If you follow everything exactly as it’s laid out in the program, you will see incredible progress within only 3 months.  You’ll burn fat and build muscle like you never have before.

And then there will skeptics.  They will say that it’s impossible for you to get results working out only 3 days a week.  Greg has designed every Kinobody workout to get your physique into top shape and in a minimal amount of time.

Trust the process and follow through with everything as it’s laid out in the program.  The people who do make insane progress.

The Eating Plan Is A Game Changer

Kinobody encourages you to eat whatever you want because that’s part of what makes life enjoyable.  I’ll be honest though.  It took me a while after starting the program before I ate my first burger and chocolate bar on a regular weeknight.  I used to reserve that kind of food for Sundays, which used to be my cheat day.

The thing is, prior to Kinobody, I was a bit brainwashed by mainstream nutrition.  I ate 5 – 6 small low-carb meals every day.  I thought that’s how fat burning worked.  So, I was a little hesitant at first with Kinobody, cause I just didn’t believe we could eat pizza and get into shape.  But, I slowly started adding in foods that I would never dare eat in the past until I realized I’d keep burning fat no matter what I ate.

Now, it’s important that you follow the Kinobody eating plan, which requires that you eat at a 400 calorie deficit per day, depending on your ultimate goal.  I ate at this deficit every day for the first round of the program.  I burned off 15 pounds of fat and then started eating at a surplus to gain muscle.

Don’t worry if you don’t understand that terminology.  Everything is laid out step by step in the program so you know exactly what you need to do to hit your fitness goals.  Most guys are looking to burn fat and build muscle at the same time, so almost everyone starts with the deficit.

That’ll help you determine where you’re at physically and what program would be most suitable for your personal goals.

In all my years of trying to eat right, Kinobody provides the easiest eating plan I have ever followed, and I don’t see myself ever going back to a previous way of doing things.  I get to eat huge dinners that I truly enjoy, whether that’s steak & cheesy potatoes, or a Chicken Shawarma dinner from my local Mediterranean restaurant.

You actually have the freedom to eat what you want when you follow Kinobody programs, and that is a game-changer for me.  But what’s even more powerful than the workouts and eating plan is the Facebook community which supports you every step of the way.

The FB Community Will Escalate Your Results

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more passionate health & fitness community on the internet than Kinobody.  Once you purchase one of the programs, you get immediate access to the private Facebook group filled with thousands of other members on the same path you’re on.  Browse around, and you’ll quickly realize just how dedicated everyone is to hit their fitness goals.  This group is no joke.  It’s the real deal of people determined to get into shape.

I’ve seen it happen multiple times, when someone finally speaks up, discouraged about where they’re at on their fitness journeys.  They’ve got too much fat to lose and they don’t know how they’ll make progress.  But then you see their transformations & new confidence only 90 days later.  It’s incredibly inspiring.  It happens often.  I can’t think of another fitness program in the world that has the kind of genuine results you see in Kinobody.

And the Facebook group is so much more than guys just showing off their “before & after” pics.  It’s a group of people who truly support each other.  It’s guys unafraid of showing their vulnerabilities and barriers they’re trying to overcome.  Everyone helps everyone.

It’s amazing to me.  I’ve been in other fat loss & fitness groups, and they don’t have this kind of open-minded culture.  I don’t know exactly how this community was built out, but it’s powerful, and I’ll bet that the results so many people get are a direct result of the support they receive from being part of this incredible community.

Kinobody Can Transform Your Life

is kinobody a scam

So is Kinobody a scam?  I sure hope that after you’ve read this article, you know the answer is a huge “NO!”  Think of Greg as a scientist who has devised a perfect concoction of nutrients and workouts to transform your body.  This is the Movie Star Bodyweight program that I follow.

When you follow the formula to a T, you’ll get serious results.  Kinobody is meant to work with your lifestyle which is why it feels so laid back and simple.  It’s can mess with your head, especially on rest days when you get to just hang out and do your thing.  You’re still getting results even when you’re doing nothing.

And that’s how Kinobody works.  There’s no need for crazy dieting, or intense workouts 6 days a week.  Just follow the simple program and come into the Facebook community when you have questions.  This is by far the simplest and most powerful program that exists if your goal is to burn fat and build muscle.

I want to thank you for reading.  If you have any questions about anything in this article, please leave them in the comments below.  I know Kinobody programs very well, so I can help clarify anything you have questions well.  I appreciate you being here!

  1. I hadn’t heard about Kinobody before today, however, I must say I feel curious to know more about it.
I guess sometimes it’s hard to trust because the internet is full of diets and programs that promise good results and not all of them work well so the image is very important to help people trust. But I agree with you, it’s not good to judge a book by its cover, so I’m gonna check out the videos on youtube.

    1. Hi Danielle – thank you for the comment – I hadn’t heard of Kinobody til 2020, and my first impression was “who on earth is this guy?” I found it by accident when I was actually learning YouTube marketing from a training I was following, and it slowly pulled me in over the next few months. You’re right, most diets promise good results, and so many of them are just fad programs that won’t really help anyone, which really saddens me, cause my goal here is to truly help others with info as I learn it. I’m glad you’re gonna check out his channel. It’s an amazing program.

  2. This is fascinating, this is my first time of reading about Kinobody , looks really amazing. What I dont know is how do i get started? I really want some fat out of my stomach

    1. Hey Wilson – so happy to hear of your excitement about it. It really is a game changer of a program. here’s the link to grab it. And I truly believe it will help you burn fat from your stomach. Just follow it to a T and you’ll see results in a few months. Let me know if you have any other questions at all.

      1. Thanks for the comment Jeff – let me know if you have any further questions about the program. I’m always happy to help in any way I can.

  3. I liked the way things are explained here regarding Kinobody. People often fall in rumors, but the results of the program made it crystal clear.

    1. I’m glad you liked how things were explained thank you. There are so many before and after photos of people who have completed 3 months of Kinobody. Just google it and it’s amazing how many 3 month transformations you’ll see. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

  4. Truth be said, a lot of people don’t trust what Greg O’ Gallagher will say or introduce. I really don’t know why – but for me, this Kinobody is a big deal to try

    1. I think it’s easy to be skeptical of him and what he claims. It may be because he teaches people how to take a much simpler approach to health and wellness, and we’re so conditioned to believe that we must follow strict diets and 6 days a week of exercise to see results. His method makes this fun. I’m glad you feel Kinobody is a big deal to try. It’s the most important workout program I’ve ever followed. Thanks for your comment.

  5. Kinobody isn’t a scam. By judging a book by its cover, it will only make one lose a rare opportunity. If you aren’t getting a good result then try to figure out where you have missed it. And are you following your instructor’s advice/rules? Think about it and make amends because Kinobody isn’t a scam.

    1. It’s really amazing what you just said – because that’s the exact attitude needed to really make real progress. You’re absolutely right – if you aren’t getting good results, then figure out where or why this happened. And ask yourself if you’re following the instructor’s advice and rules to a T. I tell people they must follow the program exactly as it’s laid out and they will see success. I loved reading your comment – thank you!

  6. This article is so we’ll detailed, natural and informative. The dieting aspect is convincing and informative. And it’s really simple to stick to.

    1. Thanks for the comment and I appreciate that you found the article detailed and informative. The dieting aspect is so much fun because you get to eat your favorite foods. It really is the simplest plan I’ve ever followed and super easy to actually stick to as well.

  7. I don’t know much about this kinobody, but I don’t know why people assume it is a scam because looking at you, you look so fit. And the fact that you can eat whatever you like on a kinbody routine makes me like it even more.

    1. Thanks for the comment! I think the people who may consider Kinobody a scam, are those who know enough about Kinobody already, but have trouble believing that a workout only 3 days a week can have a significant impact. Also, the only cardio component of the program is walking. And we eat what we want. All of these things go against a lot of the beliefs in the fitness and nutrition industry. But it’s just a matter of trying something new, and realizing that we don’t necessarily have to do things the old way, to get better results.

  8. Well I wouldn’t know if this kinobody is a scam. The reason is that it’s my first time hearing about it. The truth is that this post is educational.

    1. I’m glad you find the post educational. I did my best to demystify any of the skepticism anyone has regarding the Kinobody program. Let me know if you have any questions at all and thanks for your feedback.

  9. Diets really as a whole scare me. It’s been pounded into my ears my entire life. But with the Kinobody aspect of eating one’s way to fitness, I think this will be my religion now hahaha. Looks like this would be really worth a shot.

    1. Hey AJ! Seriously it’s funny how you mention it becoming a religion lol…when you join the program and get access to the private facebook community, I’d say you’re kind of right – these people treat Kinobody like it’s the savior of all workouts and nutrition plans on the planet haha. But it’s cause it works…and I bet you so many of these people (including myself) have tried a million other programs that didn’t do what they promised. So, when you finally find one that actually legitimately does exactly as it says it will do, it’s somewhat shocking. Let me know if you try it cause I’d love to know your progress!
