When I discovered that Fruity Pebbles Protein Powder actually exists, my mind was pretty much blown. I mean, this is the favorite cereal of my childhood. I still buy it regularly as an adult, and I’m just as addicted to it now as I ever was as a kid.
I actually had this conversation recently with friends about the magical Saturday mornings of childhood and the different cereals we enjoyed. And I discovered that some of my friends didn’t ever experience that. In fact, one said she only knew Grape Nuts and Chex cereal growing up. What on earth!? There is nothing exciting about that! In fact, that seems more like a punishment than anything else.
But then there are other friends of mine who totally remembered the days of Saturday morning cereal magic. And I guess I feel lucky that I was able to enjoy many mornings of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Golden Grahams, Cap’n Crunch, and of course, the king of them all, Fruity Pebbles.
So I was in a fitness Facebook group recently where someone posted this pic of their Fruity Pebbles Whey Protein, and I responded to them, “Are you serious? That actually exists!?”
Of course, it’s real. The moment I discovered it, I jumped onto Amazon and bought it pretty much right away. Well, I take it back. I bought it after I saw one reviewer say that it tastes just like the leftover milk from the cereal you remember as a kid.
Sure, it’s slightly pricier than other brands, but I got it anyway, cause I realized this is not something that happens every day.
So, I’ve already had it a few times, and I love it. I’ll break down the details of Fruity Pebbles Whey Protein below.

I figure, even if you’re a health nut looking for quality whey protein in your diet, you wouldn’t be online searching for a Fruity Pebbles Protein shake. If you’re here, it’s cause you want to know how the Yabba Dabba Doo actually tastes.
Well, to be honest, I was nervous about the taste at first, but after having made a few Fruity Pebbles shakes, I’m completely baffled as to how they got it to taste this good. I really didn’t know exactly what to expect, and I only saw one review before I bought it, but that was enough to convince me to give it a try.
This kind of flavor could easily go very wrong…into truly disgusting territory. I mean, whey protein is notorious for having a chalky aftertaste, and it took me forever to finally settle on my go-to brand, which is AllMax AllWhey.
But man, this Fruity Pebbles whey protein is shockingly good. The one review I saw completely nailed it. To me, it tastes exactly the same as the leftover milk in your bowl when you finish eating the Fruity Pebbles cereal. In other words, it’s pretty much drugs. Cause that leftover milk is amazing.
Plus, this protein powder even contains all the little colorful pebble pieces that are always leftover in your milk from when you eat the cereal. All I did was mix a scoop of it with 8 ounces of milk, and that’s it.
I’m actually hesitant to make an official shake with this powder in a blender the way I normally do, by throwing in a bunch of fruit. For some reason, I’m feeling that’s not the right thing to do with this protein. So, I’m going to continue mixing it with the milk alone.
Dymatize Fruity Pebbles Protein Powder is actually packed with great ingredients for anyone who is looking for a quality whey protein. Prior to making the purchase, I wasn’t aware that this company manufactures some of the best quality protein in the industry. Then a few different people pointed that out to me.
Here’s a breakdown of the nutrition in each serving:
- Calories – 110
- Protein – 25 grams
- Carbs – 1 gram
- Fat – 0 grams
- BCAAs – 5.5 grams
- Leucine – 2.8 grams
There’s a total of 25 grams of amino acids in each serving and they’re formulated to be especially effective in activating muscle protein synthesis as well as support muscle recovery after intense workouts.
Compared to other brands I’ve purchased, I feel that the price I paid for this protein was a bit steep. But I also just realized as I was writing this article, that I made the purchase so quickly, I didn’t even see there was a better deal for it.
I could have gotten a 2 pound container for less money than I paid for a 1.6 pound container.
The breakdown is that you can get a serving of this protein a day for under $1 each. When you consider the fact that it’s a top selling brand and it’s Fruity Pebbles flavored, I’d say it’s a great deal.
I did speak to some other people who were able to get even better deals on this specific product. In the private FB group for my workout program, I posted that I just bought this protein powder as soon as Amazon delivered it.
A few people who saw my post went online and bought it themselves. Depending on where you live, the price seems to vary quite a bit. So, make sure to check out this link to see how much it would cost you.
Interestingly, I learned that quite a few other people are taking this same whey protein and same flavor. There’s also a Cocoa Pebbles version of it. One guy says he actually mixes Fruity Pebbles in with this protein powder & milk, which to me sounds a bit insane!
That’s a Fruity Pebbles protein shake mixed with Fruity Pebbles! That could be overkill but I have no idea cause I haven’t tried that…and I may very well experiment with it when I get my next box of cereal!
More Benefits Of Dymatize ISO100 Whey Proteins
Dymatize is a great company that really places a huge emphasis on its high-quality ingredients. In fact, it’s won best Isolate Protein awards several years in a row. The amino acids in this protein are fantastic, especially if you’re doing intense resistance training. This is the resistance training program I follow, and I definitely need to be fueling my muscles with high quality protein, cause it’s an intense program.
ISO100 protein is a combination of whey protein & whey protein isolates, and there aren’t any fillers or additional supplements added. Because this protein has been partially broken down, it ensures easy digestion and absorption of the amino acids required for building muscle.
One other major benefit of this protein is that it mixes very well. Lots of other protein powders get clumpy and don’t mix well with liquids. I’ve had this issue myself multiple times. This protein actually mixed & dissolved seamlessly, and tasted great.
Fruity Pebbles Whey Protein In Summary
So, the final verdict on Fruity Pebbles Protein Powder is that it’s an awesome buy. To me it tastes just like the milk leftover from a bowl of Fruity Pebbles, which is addictive! So, if you’re a fan of the cereal, I just want to encourage you to go out and get this right now, cause it’s that good!
Also, I’ve found that when scrolling through Amazon, you can find some very good deals for this. As I stated earlier though, it seems to be dependent on where you live, so do some good research online.
